The star, writer and music director of A Freudian Slip of the Jung, Sean Fisher started as half of the sketch duo The Goatee Boys (with Scott McCrickard), who were nominated for a Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award in 2000. He also co-created and music directed Show Stopping Number! (Best of the Fringe Festival 2007; Canadian Comedy Award Winner) and co-produced Plan LIVE From Outer Space (Canadian Comedy Award for Best Comedic Play 2006).
A 30-year comedy, theatre, film and television veteran, Bruce's credits include stage work with Illustrated Men, Second City, the Canadian Stage and Tarragon Theatre, as well as roles in Good Will Hunting and Mean Girls. He has won numerous awards for his commercial work, two Canadian Comedy Awards for his improvising, and a 2009 Gemini Award for his voice work in Atomic Betty.
Moira Dunphy has numerous film and TV credits (Howie Do It, The knockaround Guys, Twitch City, Traders) and as a member of The Chumps, wrote and starred in more than a dozen productions, as well as The Chumps Without A Net for CBC Radio. She is on the faculty of the Humber College Comedy Writing and Performance Program, and has been nominated twice for Canadian Comedy Awards.
David Frisch returns to the Fringe after producing and starring in Below the Belt in 2004 (a NOW Magazine pick for "Outstanding Ensemble") and appearing in the 2005 production of Lust's Labour's Lost. His other stage roles include Reuben in The Chosen (Winnipeg and Toronto), Nick in Homeward Bound (Chicago), and Truscott in Loot (Boston).
Denise has a B.F.A. in Music Theatre and has appeared with the Sunshine Festival Theatre, Port Stanley Festival Theatre, Festival of Classics, and Soulpepper Theatre. Recently, she starred in Falling For Caroline, which has been screened at film festivals in North America and Europe. She is also appearing in another Fringe show, The Getaway, written by Bruce Hunter.
Kara Evelyn has been involved in the London and Toronto, Ontario Fringes for a number of years as an actress, stage manager and assistant director. A graduate from both York University in English literature and Sheridan College in Film and Television, she has always had an interest in the behind the scenes aspects of stage and film productions. Kara is delighted to find herself working with Bruce Hunter and the wonderful cast of A Freudian Slip of the Jung.
Samantha Aylsworth is a recent graduate of the Theatre Arts: Technical Production program at Humber College. Her credits in costuming include Gaggle; directed by Karin Randoja for the Hysteria Festival at Buddies in Bad Times, Tir Na Nog: A Visitor's Tale; designed by Anna Romanovska, and Grimm; designed by Julia Tribe. Samantha is exited to be back at the Fringe this year!
New to the Fringe this year, Bray Scott-Lewis is excited to get her festival feet wet with such a wonderful cast and crew. A recent graduate of Theatre Arts: Technical Production program at Humber College, her credits in set design include The Survivalists: A Radio Play, directed by Karin Randoja. She also holds credits as a scenic artist for Tir Na Nog: A Visitor's Tale directed by Ker Wells as well as Ghandi High directed by Pierre Tetrault.
